This position is responsible for network support and operational excellence. This is achieved through the management of external network service providers and processes, internal site needs and requests for service enhancements, and support of business special project initiatives which involve, as examples, acquisition, divestiture, and joint venture activities, to ensure data network services are available and reliable in serving the company's current and future needs.
The position further requires a considerable amount of creativity, decision-making, and handling of sensitive and confidential initiatives. The position is responsible for providing technical guidance to sites, serving as a liaison between sites and network service providers, and accomplishing delivery of such services in a multi-outsource provider environment. The position is also responsible for ensuring service level agreements and key performance indicators are met and that any adverse impact on supplier service quality is kept to a minimum.
