The tasks of the Finance Support mainly consist of:

• Acting as intermediary between Finance end-users and IT / Finance Project management;
• Daily checking timeliness, correctness and completeness of EOD processing, including rules engine, reconciliations and general ledger EOD processing; 
• Delivering first line and/or second line support to our WB Finance end-users with regards to financial accounting, reporting and reconciliations; 
• Maintenance of supported applications, like rules engine, general ledger and cash reconciliation application; 
• Participate in projects by supporting development, testing, conversion and implementation of new/changed applications (including those in the Front Office and Back Office domain); 
• Supporting WB Finance end-users with user acceptance tests;
• Interacting with IT development department for technical aspects of development activities; 
• Safeguarding the design of the application model and data model. This includes adherence to and improvement of the architecture (principles), definitions and logical data model.
